Vitel Wireless has introduced a 1 per cent lifetime loyalty reward for its agents as part of efforts to strengthen its distribution network and encourage long-term partnerships.
The telecommunications company announced the initiative last Wednesday, describing it as an ongoing loyalty compensation programme designed to recognise the contribution of agents to the growth of its business.
According to the company, eligible active agents will receive a continuous 1 per cent reward tied to qualifying sales and agent onboarding activities.
Vitel Wireless said the initiative was designed to provide agents with residual value from their ongoing business activities while creating additional incentives for sales growth, retention and network expansion.
In a statement, the company said, “The 1 per cent lifetime reward ensures that active agents receive continuous residual value on qualifying sales and operations, providing long-term equity and direct recognition for their ongoing contributions to the brand’s footprint.”
The company identified three major components of the initiative, including lifetime residual value, a direct growth incentive and seamless allocation.
Under the lifetime residual value component, active agents will earn a continuous 1 per cent reward linked to qualifying activities and agent onboarding. The direct growth incentive is aimed at encouraging increased sales and improving partner retention, while the allocation system is integrated into the company’s existing agent management platform to enable tracking and fulfilment.
Vitel Wireless said the programme took immediate effect across eligible agent categories.
Existing agents can access their agent or partner portals to check their reward status, while prospective agents can obtain information about joining the network through the company’s website.
The company also disclosed the names of its top 20 agents who received payments under its monthly loyalty initiative in August.
They include Queen Ugoorji, Muhammad Muhammad, Esther Anuma, Adeosun Oluwaseun, Chibuike Okorie, Daniel Adewole, Idris Zakariya Abdullahi, Tony Adiukwu, Paulinus Umunnabuike and Dalhat Ladan.
Others are Blessing Ameh, Chidiebere Nwankwo, Blessing Emeronye, Fausat Aromashodun, Jennifer Sitya, Beulah Onuegbulam, Anderline Amos, Abubakar Yunusa, Eunice Jonah and Joshua Joseph.
Vitel Wireless operates a mobile telecommunications network with coverage across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, providing GSM services including voice calls, SMS, USSD and mobile data.
