The Anambra State ICT Agency has developed DocTracker, a digital platform designed to improve document management, project monitoring and contractor oversight in the state’s Ministry of Works and Infrastructure.
The platform features two core modules: Document Management and Project and Contractor Management, providing digital tools to track official documents, monitor government projects and follow implementation progress across project sites.
The Document Management module enables officials to track documents throughout their lifecycle, while the Project and Contractor Management module supports the monitoring of contractors, field activities, project locations and project execution.
The platform is currently undergoing reviews ahead of its launch, with feedback from the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, led by Commissioner Arc. Okey Ezeobi, expected to guide further improvements by the agency’s technology team.
The development highlights Anambra State’s efforts to deploy digital solutions in public administration, particularly in areas where improved access to information, project visibility and monitoring can support government efficiency.
In a separate initiative, the agency is strengthening digital collaboration with the Ministry of Information and Value Reformation through SolutionLens, the state’s citizen-engagement platform.
The platform was presented and reviewed during a working visit by the Honourable Commissioner for Information and Value Reformation and his team to the Anambra State ICT Agency on October 8, 2026.
The engagement focused on the platform’s operational use, with the ministry’s information officers receiving hands-on training and onboarding support using official government email addresses.
The team also reviewed the redesigned Anambra State Government website as part of efforts to improve digital communication and public access to government information.
SolutionLens is designed to support citizen engagement by providing a channel through which residents can interact with government and share feedback. The platform can be accessed at lens.anambrastate.gov.ng.
Meanwhile, the agency has launched INSIDE, a fortnightly video series showcasing the people, technology initiatives and innovations behind Anambra’s digital transformation.
The series will air on the ministry’s social media platforms, offering residents a closer look at the work and initiatives driving the state’s digital development.
The agency has also encouraged residents to explore the redesigned state government website at anambrastate.gov.ng.
The initiatives form part of Anambra’s broader digital governance efforts, combining internal administrative tools with citizen-facing platforms to improve government operations, communication and public engagement.
However, the impact of DocTracker will ultimately depend on its implementation, adoption by government officials and its ability to provide timely, reliable information on project execution and documentation.
