Binance has announced that its tokenised stock offering, bStocks, has surpassed $500 million in Assets Under Management (AUM), less than two months after its launch, highlighting growing investor interest in digital access to traditional financial markets.
Launched on June 11, 2026, the platform initially offered just five tokenised stocks but has since expanded to more than 46 listings across sectors including technology, financial services, semiconductors, clean energy and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
The product allows eligible users to buy and trade tokenised versions of publicly listed companies around the clock, with instant, fee-free conversion between a bStock and its underlying stock.
Gen Z leading adoption
According to Binance, the new product is attracting a younger generation of investors. Data from the exchange shows that 44% of all bStocks trading activity comes from Gen Z users, making them the largest participating age group.
The exchange also revealed that 41.5% of bStocks users are investing in traditional financial assets for the first time through the platform, suggesting that tokenised securities are becoming an entry point into equity investing for many crypto-native investors.
Demand extends beyond Wall Street hours
One of the biggest attractions of tokenised stocks is continuous market access.
Binance disclosed that 58% of equity-linked trading volume on the platform now occurs outside regular U.S. stock market hours, reflecting increasing demand from global investors who prefer to trade at any time of the day.
The exchange also reported that bStocks generated about $2 billion in trading volume during the most recent weekend, underscoring growing user engagement even when traditional exchanges are closed.
Integrated investment experience
Binance said bStocks are fully integrated into its broader investment ecosystem, allowing users to manage tokenised stocks alongside cryptocurrencies, spot trading and perpetual futures within one platform.
According to the company, nearly 59% of bStock holders also trade perpetual futures, direct equities or both, indicating that many investors are diversifying across multiple asset classes.
Expanding investment options
Since launch, Binance has steadily increased the number of available tokenised securities. Recent additions include shares linked to major global companies such as Apple, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, PayPal and Dell Technologies, as well as the VanEck Semiconductor ETF.
Commenting on the milestone, Shunyet Jan, Head of Exchange and Trading at Binance, said investors increasingly expect financial products that are borderless, always available and easy to access.
The latest milestone reflects the growing convergence between digital assets and traditional finance, with tokenisation emerging as one of the fastest-growing trends in global investing.
